A little about Hoop Sizes If you are unsure what size of Hoop is right for you, we have some suggestions. For beginning Hoopers, the bigger and heavier Hoop the better. We recommend using a Hoop that measures approximately 42", or if you are super vertically challenged or for other reasons, measure from the ground up to halfway in between the bottom of your chest and your belly button. (This is not a set rule, though, because some people prefer bigger Hoops, while other people prefer smaller Hoops.) But in the beginning, big is usually better, especially if your goal is exercise and weight loss. You are welcome to specify what size you would like to have when ordering your Hoop. For you seasoned Hoopers out there, we can make any of our Hoops "circus style," which are lighter and smaller, generally around 36". These Hoops are easier to manipulate with tosses, off the body moves, and more advanced HoopDance moves. Just specify what size you would like when ordering. |
